Phil Parkinson replaces on-loan Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford with Ben Williams as Pickford is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Sunderland's Jack Rodwell does not feature despite recovering from a groin problem, while fellow midfielders Lee Cattermole and Emanuele Giaccherini miss out through injury.

George Honeyman is named among the Sunderland substitutes for the first time this season. There is no place for Jermain Defoe in the starting lineup.
