Video: UAE Rugby Association chief Ian Bremner: 'Rugby Sevens' popularity growing in Middle East'

Former Scotland captain Gavin Hastings and UAE Rugby Association chief executive Ian Bremner talk about the importance of rugby Sevens in the Middle East.

The second round of the HSBC Sevens World Series gets underway this weekend and those involved in the sport are eager to build on its popularity in the Middle East.

While the majority of countries adopt the traditional 15-a-side, the United Arab Emirates have embraced the rugby Sevens and the likes of UAE Rugby Association chief executive Ian Bremner believes that it continues to 'grow'.

Former Scotland and British & Lions captain Gavin Hastings is an advocate of the seven-a-side game and believes that the format will influence rugby in the UAE.
