Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirms that his club will not be making any further additions to their squad before the transfer deadline.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that his club will not be making any further additions to their squad in the final stages of the transfer window.

Los Blancos have brought five players to Bernabeu during the current market, with Jude Bellingham, Arda Guler and Fran Garcia arriving on permanent deals.

Meanwhile, Joselu and Kepa Arrizabalaga have joined on loan from Espanyol and Chelsea respectively.

Real Madrid have been hit with injuries to vital players early in the season, with Vinicius Junior joining Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militao and Guler on the sidelines.

Ferland Mendy and Dani Ceballos are also currently out, which has seen Real Madrid's squad stretched in the early stages of the campaign.

There had been claims that Los Blancos were considering being active in the latter stages of the market, but Ancelotti, speaking during his press conference on Friday, has said that "the squad is complete".

"Very happy. When we started the season everything was sorted out. The squad is complete. It has everything. It's competitive. We may have problems, but there are resources," said the Italian.

"The team is very competitive and we are going for everything."

Kylian Mbappe is set to stay with Paris Saint-Germain despite suggestions that Real Madrid could make a big-money move for the France international before the deadline.

Ancelotti was asked about the attacker during his press conference but said that he 'did not see the point' of discussing a player at another club.

"I don't see what the point of that is. I'm not talking about Mbappe, because he's a PSG player and we respect everyone who's out there," said the Italian.

Ancelotti also discussed how he planned to replace the injured Vinicius, with Joselu and Brahim Diaz both options to come into the attack alongside Rodrygo.

"Joselu, Brahim? Even some interior midfield players, because we don't need to play with three forwards," he added.

"We don't have anyone like Vinicius, that's how it is. If Joselu plays we will use more crosses and Brahim, football between the lines. We'll have to adapt, but not change the system."

Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz are among the players to have left Real Madrid since the end of last season.
