Alexis Sanchez is not prepared to take a pay cut in order to secure a move away from Manchester United this summer, according to a report.

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly signalled to Manchester United that he is not prepared to take a pay cut in order to secure a move away from the club this summer.

The Chile international is currently on loan at Inter Milan but is due to return to Old Trafford next month.

The experienced attacker still has two years left to run on his £300,000-a-week contract with the Red Devils, but he is not thought to be in the plans of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer moving forward.

United are allegedly keen to shift him on a permanent deal this summer, but according to the Daily Mail, the South American is not prepared to accept a pay cut to potentially secure an exit.

The 31-year-old has been in relatively good form for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing two goals and seven assists in 16 appearances in all competitions.

Sanchez has only managed five goals and nine assists in 45 appearances for United, though, since joining the club from Arsenal in January 2018.
