An unnamed Premier League club reportedly shows concrete interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe this summer.

An unnamed Premier League club has reportedly shown concrete interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe this summer.

The 22-year-old has entered the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 outfit, who have offered the Frenchman a new five-year deal that would make him their third-highest paid player behind Neymar and Lionel Messi.

According to RMC Sport, only one club based in England have made an approach to sign Mbappe, though the team rumoured currently remains unknown.

Liverpool and Manchester United have previously been linked with the forward, while Manchester City are in the market for a new striker, with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane their primary target.

Real Madrid are also understood to be admirers of the PSG star, though the report states that they have not registered their interest to sign him this summer, with an approach in 2022 more likely.

The report also adds that Everton's Richarlison has been earmarked as Mbappe's replacement, should the 2018 World Cup winner leave the club.

Mbappe had a brilliant campaign in front of goal for the Parisian side last season, scoring 42 times and providing 11 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.
