A report claims that Manchester United will have to hand over the full amount Birmingham City are after for Jude Bellingham if they are to sign the teenage midfielder.

Manchester United have reportedly been informed by Birmingham City that they must pay the full amount upfront for midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The Red Devils have been linked with the 16-year-old over the past six months and are rumoured to have had an offer knocked back in January.

Borussia Dortmund are among the other high-profile teams sniffing around Bellingham, who has featured on 35 occasions for Birmingham's first team during the 2019-20 season.

Recent reports suggested that United had been willing to offer a structured deal made up of smaller downpayments for the teenager, with a series of bonuses also included.

According to ESPN, however, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men must increase the amount City are due immediately if they are to see off competition for Bellingham's signature.

Bayern Munich's Corentin Tolisso and Adrien Rabiot of Juventus are also believed to have been eyed up by United ahead of the summer transfer window.
