Timo Werner reportedly has no intention of pushing for a transfer away from Chelsea during the summer.

Timo Werner reportedly has no interest in pursuing a transfer away from Chelsea during the summer window.

While the Germany international has contributed 10 goals and seven assists this season, the 25-year-old has faced increasing criticism for his performances in front of goal.

At a time when Erling Braut Haaland has been linked with a departure from Borussia Dortmund, it has been suggested that the former RB Leipzig man could move in the opposite direction.

However, according to Goal, Werner is motivated to ensure that his period at Stamford Bridge is not regarded as a failure.

The report claims that the versatile attacker does not want to leave the Premier League outfit after just one season, effectively ending any talk of a quick return to the Bundesliga.

Werner holds a contract with the Blues until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
