Roman Kemp is said to be working on a new mental health documentary focussed on young people.

Two years ago the 29-year-old DJ presented an acclaimed one-off for BBC Three, Our Silent Emergency, which examined why young men - including his best friend, who committed suicide - were struggling with mental health issues.

The new programme, Roman Kemp: Our School Emergency, sees Kemp revisit the issue through the prism of young adults.

A source told The Sun: "Roman identifies this as a very important area to explore within the wider issue of depression.

"As part of that he will be looking at the impact of mental health on young people - including schoolchildren - who are affected.

"It is believed that the issues in question often start in the very early years and that's the point at which it is best to start assessing them."

A release date for the documentary has yet to be confirmed.
