Sam Thompson 'enters The Circle as part of a duo'

Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson is reportedly taking part in the celebrity version of The Circle with TOWIE's Pete Wicks.

Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson is reportedly taking part in the first celebrity edition of The Circle.

The Channel 4 show is currently being pre-recorded for transmission early next year, with the famous faces taking part clueless about who else is in the competition with them.

Thompson, 28, recently split from co-star girlfriend Zara McDermott and according to The Sun, he is aiming to take his mind off the break-up by throwing himself into The Circle, which is being staged in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

The newspaper says that Thompson is playing the game as one half of a duo, teaming up with Pete Wicks of TOWIE fame after the pair struck up a friendship on Celebs Go Dating.

"Sam has swapped Zara for Pete as his new housemate this week," said a source.

"He's been living with Pete in a block of flats filming The Circle with no access to the outside world, which may have come as a relief following his split from Zara.

"Sam's bromance with Pete really blossomed during their time together on Celebs Go Dating, so they were more than happy to compete on The Circle as a duo."

Others said to be taking part in the show include Denise van Outen, Baga Chipz and Charlotte Crosby.
