Gogglebox star Ellie Warner was reportedly with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston at the time he was hit by a car last week.

Nat is believed to be in a coma in life support following the incident, which happened in Leeds last Friday night and left him with a broken back, broken neck, two collapsed lungs and possible brain damage.

An unnamed friend of the couple told The Mirror: "Nat's dad told me it was a 30mph road and this guy was coming down it at 60.

"They were coming out of the pub. His girlfriend, Ellie, was with him.

"I don't know how he is doing but I believe he is still in the coma.

"It's very sad and we were really sorry to hear what happened.

"We spoke to his dad yesterday and he was crying. He doesn't want to see his son as he can't face it."

West Yorkshire Police have launched an appeal for witnesses of the accident to come forward.
